Our Story

I’ve always loved the taste of something warm from the oven. I just never loved…baking it. At 15, I’d watch perfect cookies on Instagram, while my attempts turned into a mess of bowls, butter, and “maybe next time.” It turns out most of my friends felt the same. They love the treat, dread the process.

So I asked my mom for help. She’s a food-science enthusiast and together, we started tinkering with mixes that could skip the stress but keep the deliciousness. The goal was simple: homemade quality, quick and easy.

Test → Learn → Repeat

After dozens of trials (and plenty of flops), we landed on something we’re proud of: shelf-stable, just add water water-only mixes made with all-natural, thoughtfully chosen ingredients. No eggs to crack, no butter to soften, no measuring spoons. And as we tested, non-bakers started baking; parents baked with kids right before movie night; college students made quick, midnight snacks during finals week... all without going to the store or pulling out half the pantry.

Simply Baked Box exists because everyone should be able to bake something delicious. Our mixes are designed to be fail-friendly and easy, with the textures and flavors you expect from a bakery, not a box from the store. From our family kitchen to yours, thanks for giving this little idea a chance.
